New Home and New Review Experience

Hello again Blazers!

I know that it has been a while since my last blog update. My family moved to a new location and it has taken us time to get back to the crazy thing we call life!

I have a new toy and want to do a review of it. You know my reviews are simple down to earth everyday usage reviews. I am no expert and especially when it comes to photography. I take a lot of pictures and the camera I have been using for both my “out and about” video and my everyday photography a Nikon CoolPix L10 and it has served me well, but a good friend of mine had purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 a couple of years ago and only just used it for the first time when he took pictures of his apartment for documentation when he moved out. It was still in the box and brand new and I got it for only $30.00 Bucks!

So, I will be doing a review of this camera just for fun and you will have the chance to see what this camera can do and if Panasonic actually puts out a good worth the money product. So with the at said you will get my first video below.

Getting back to sanity

Well, the big move is over! Man was that a very busy and tiring week. We can finally sit down and get back to the daily challenges of business and play.

Moving is not my idea of fun, but once it is over then you can enjoy the new place and get back to normal (whatever that is).

I will be putting up photos of our new place. It is small but it has a nice backyard and it is nice and private.

Anger can be a very powerful and destructive emotion. There is anger towards injustice and there is anger that comes from a seeming failure, but anger that is raw and negative is the most destructive emotion because in the midst of it we tear down, hurt and hinder others growth.

All the energy spent on anger can be routed to actions that build up and cause those that we are angry at to be encouraged. Don’t  let your anger lead you into the greatest speech you’ll ever regret!

Hello once again!

It has been a while since I last posted on this blog. I have been in the midst of moving so I hope that you have not been discouraged by me not updating as much as I should.

I am going to be putting up some photos from the move and maybe even some video also. I am not the greatest person to be around when moving is taking place so you might see a side of Danny Blaze that you are not used to but I will do my best to keep that smile on my face and a joyful tone to my blog updates.

My Weekend Update

I am uploading two new movies from my weekend home alone. I had a good weekend and enjoyed spending some time by myself and getting out and about. I played around with my guitar and just hung out and did guy things. I hope you enjoy these next videos and there will be more coming. What am I doing?

This is a good question because sometimes I don’t know myself what it is I am doing. I am just like most of you out there just trying to get through the day and end it on a positive note. I get up in the morning and start the day with being thankful for another day to get is right. I am thankful for my family and for those who love me. I am thankful for a God who watches over my family while I am out and about and when I come home I am thankful that there is a warm caring wife and son who love me for me.

It is easy to get caught up in all that is going on in this crazy world. We all have chased money and success and some of us have been able to get that money and that success but it seems like it is not enough. The reason for this is because money and success can only be enjoyed if we are truly fulfilled.

When my day starts I set out to find ways that I can contribute because by contributing to our those in our community is where fulfillment will come. You have all heard, “if you give you will receive”. I believe in this very much. If all I am doing during the day is to meet my own needs then I am going to constantly be chasing after the fulfillment that seems to allude me because I am only doing something for me and not others.

Well, the next post will be some things on a practical level and hopefully you will enjoy them.

What are you doing?

I was asked this question by a dear friend that I have been corresponding with for the last few months. They asked me if I would tell them what I am doing and maybe even where I am going. This is a really challenging question to say the least so I thought that I would use this blog to do just that. I will use the Danny Blaze blog to share my life and what I am doing and even where I am going. Hope this will answer their questions and also maybe challenge my readers to check their own hearts and see what is it that they are doing and where are they going.

America the challenged

It is 1:40 AM here in Merced California and I was just thinking about my last post. What is really going on in America is really not health care or cap and trade but America is in the process of being challenged. We are in a fight for the America that our forefathers envisioned and what the current administration would like to see America become. They want change but what kind of change and is that change going to be a complete change of the foundation of our Constitutional Republic?

I would like to challenge everyone to step back, look beyond the anger and frustration that we all fell from our voices not being heard because there is an agenda that Obama and our voted in representatives are shooting for. We have seen time and again how Pelosi (California Representative), Cordoza (CA Rep) and the others out there belittling their own constituents by calling us an angry mob that is being funded by the GOP and other “right wing” organizations.

Do you see what is going on or are you just going to sit on your duffs and ignore the fact that those we voted for think that they need to tell us what is best for us. Something to think about.

Citizens Speak Up

Today as I was sitting at my kitchen table I was watching a Fox News program. I saw people at the different town hall meetings expressing their displeasure with the perspective representatives on the matter of the health care bill and what it means for Americans across the nation.

We all have been paying attention to the different points of view from the left to the right to the middle. Everyone has an opinion and what they feel they bill will do for our health care system as we currently know it.

I have had to use the health care system at different times in my family life whether it was having my knee stitched up after being hit by a car on my bicycle to having my gull bladder removed. Now I have insurance and it was all covered. But I also have had to use the health care system when I didn't have insurance and I was still able to get my appendix removed and I was taken care of very well.

I know that we have the best darn health care system in the world. It is not perfect and there is always room for improvement but that does not mean that I want it completely overhauled by this current administration. Why re-invent the wheel? Why take something that works and then trash it to then only put in the hands of government? We know all to well that our government is not in the business of doing things well let alone run a health care system. So let's be honest and truthful about this matter and get past our own personal party politics and really deal with what the health care system needs, an honest look by honest eyes that don't have a vested interest. Big order? You bet but it can be done.

That is why I was motivated to set up this blog because I want my voice to be heard and I want to have those who are honest whether they agree with me or not to be heard also. It is time for Americans to start being Americans and take up the responsibility that we as citizens of the greatest country that has ever been in existance, let us be the real leaders that we all are capable of becoming.

In the days following this post I am going to be putting up videos and comments that are from my personal point of view. I will be approaching this from my world view and my own convictions. some things will be received well and some things will be not received so well but either way, I hope to at least motivate my fellow Americans to be the real government that we are supposed to be and hold accountable those who we vote into office to do what they were voted into office to do...work for the people!
